As some of you may know, the website for the Night Kernel was feathercode.github.io/night-kernel. This website was then more of an 'information hub', if you will, where you could find all the links to different parts of the project. On the page, you could find a link to twitter, the repo, github issues and even the email address.

I made the decision to remove the website feathercode.github.io, which included the Night Kernel page, earlier this day. The repository of the website is still available as an archived repository on my github, though. This means that all information is still available, and nothing has truly been removed.

I realize that I haven't asked any of you if this was okay, and I actually forgot about the Night Kernel page until just now. I feel like this group has never benefitted from having a website, though. However, I can't confirm this because I never used any analytics. So, I might be off on that one.

Next, I'd like this to be a discussion about how we're going to move forward. For example, we can use the Mercury Coding website. Or maybe we just don't want a website anymore.

I'm sorry for not paying more attention.

Not sure if the website, that you are referring to, was intended for just the Knight Kernel development team. Sometime back, I did go to a website where it had information about the Knight Kernel and some other OS. Not so sure that it had enough useable info about the Knight Kernel.

Now, looking to the day when the Knight Kernel will be a functioning kernel in the FreeDOS OS, it would be nice to see a site where there could be more detailed information, about the Knight Kernel, could be found. Although you cannot really predict whether the "new" FreeDOS will become more popular or not, it still would be nice to have a site and maybe forum, for that. Not even sure, if there would be more 32 bit programs being developed, for the "new" FreeDOS. Get out that crystal ball, and see what you can see.

What ever happened to the Bird OS, was that on that website? Was that a separate project that was being worked on.

BirdOS was on that website and is a completely seperate project.

The website you viewed is the one I 'removed' today.

Going forward, we may as well start/build out a page on MercuryCoding. In the meantime, the NKRM is a pretty good all-encompassing reference to Night in its current state, albeit probably much more than anyone short of a dev really needs to know lol

Also, where will the new home of BirdOS be?

Okay, we'll have to think about what we want to have on that page though.

It's repo will be it's home from now on. Releases go via the repo, documentation via the repo (REFMAN, though not up-to-date, but it will be) and issues.
