Proscooter decks, also known as trick scooter decks, are what you stand on when you ride your scooter. How your deck feels will impact your whole scooter experience, so it is important to get one that fits your style. Modern decks are typically made out of aluminum, ensuring a durable and lightweight product. Furthermore, pro scooter decks are non-foldable, ensuring a sturdy construction.

Pro scooter decks come in various shapes and sizes, which provide different riding experiences. When getting a scooter deck you should take into account the length, the width and the weight. Deck lengths vary from around 18 inches (46 cm) to 23.5 inches (60 cm). Longer decks will naturally be more comfortable to stand on and will provide you with more leverage to pop higher. Shorter decks are better for tricks such as tailwhips, allow for easier rotations, and give you more control.

In short, no. When buying a deck, you need to check the individual specs to make sure that it is compatible with the rest of your parts. The parts of your scooter that you need to check for compatibility are the headset, wheels, and fork. For example, make sure that the brake and dropout can accommodate the size of your wheels.

Manufactured for ideal grab and grind ability, all of our extrusions have flat sides and bottom rails. Over the years, Lucky has earned a reputation for their world-class decks, which outperform and outlast the competitors.

Choosing which Pro Scooter Deck is best for you mainly depends on your riding style. For example, the Prospect XL Deck

is a much heavier and sturdier deck so it can withstand the rough

terrain of the streets and street riding. While a pro scooter deck like

the PROSPECT

is much lighter and smaller so you can learn and perform park tricks

easier. If you are planning on riding street then you may want to pick a

pro scooter deck that is heavier and wider like the EVO and if you are

planning on riding park, you may go with a pro .scooter deck like the

PROSPECT

The deck is one of the most important parts of a pro scooter. Without

the deck we would have nothing to stand on! The wheels, bars, and fork

all connect directly to the deck so it is a part you are going to need.

The underside of the deck is made as flat as possible to allow for

smoother and more controlled grinds and slides on rails, ledges, and

boxes. The deck is also what contributes to the majority of the weight

of a pro scooter so if you want a pro scooter on the lighter side, then

you may want to choose a deck like the PROSPECT

The best pro scooter deck depends on many factors like your riding

style, age, size and experience. If you are a beginner, then a pro

scooter deck like the CREW or PROSPECT

will be great due to its light weight and smaller size. If you are a

bigger person and want a more durable pro scooter deck, then COVENANT

is the perfect choices. Lucky has a wide variety of pro scooter decks

which are good for all kinds of riders! Find the one that is best for

you today!

The best Street Scooter Deck will be heavier, therefore stronger. This allows it to cope with heavy handed Scooter tricks. The key to a great 1 piece scooter deck for park tricks is keeping the Deck balanced and lightweight for more technical Scooter freestyle riding. The best 1 piece deck is either the strongest scooter deck or the lightest scooter deck model for either greater strength or maximum air when tricking. The second type of scooter deck is your standard deck that has a folding mechanism to allow the folding scooter to be transported easily. These are not suitable for stunt scooters but are an excellent commute companion with their nifty folding feature making them compact and extra convenient.

If you're unsure about which size to choose, you can measure your height and compare it to the size chart provided by the manufacturer of the scooter you're interested in. Additionally, you should also consider the width of the deck and the size of the wheels, as these factors can also affect the overall feel and stability of the scooter.

Stunt scooter decks are typically made from lightweight and durable materials such as aluminum, titanium, or chromoly steel. These materials are chosen for their strength and ability to withstand the impact and stress of landing tricks.

Aluminum is the most commonly used material for stunt scooter decks due to its light weight and strength. It is also relatively inexpensive, which makes it a popular choice among riders. Aluminum decks can vary in thickness and design, with some featuring reinforcements or cutouts to reduce weight while maintaining strength.

Titanium is a more expensive option, but it is also lighter and stronger than aluminum. Titanium decks are often used by professional riders who require the highest level of performance and durability from their equipment.

Chromoly steel is another strong and durable material that is commonly used for stunt scooter decks. It is heavier than aluminum but offers a greater degree of rigidity and strength, making it ideal for riders who need extra stability and support.

Ultimately, the choice of material for a stunt scooter deck depends on the rider's individual preferences and riding style. Riders who prioritize weight and agility may prefer aluminum or titanium, while those who prioritize strength and stability may opt for chromoly steel.

Neochrome: This is a multi-coloured finish that shifts and changes colours depending on the lighting and angle of the scooter deck. It is a popular choice for riders who want a vibrant, eye-catching look.

Ultimately, the colour of a stunt scooter deck is a matter of personal preference and style. Some riders prefer bright, bold colours that stand out, while others prefer more understated, classic colours.

Orion TDI necks underwent constant updates to perfect the geometry. Initially they were released in a standard/non-integrated version with an 81.5 and 83 headtube angle options then later they were updated and re-released as an integrated version for using integrated headset bearings with only an 83 option.

The new family of TDI products from PROTO will be the Space release. Decks will be available Summer 2016 and the next generation of TDI necks will debut to the public Holiday 2016, after they arrive from outer space containing alien technology from the future.

All Orion and Space TDI components will be interchangeable, however some may require slight modifications depending on which release and family are being mated together. Older Orion deck extrusions will require slight modification to fit the recessed dovetails of the new Integrated Orion neck.
