Thank you for your immense support to our organization over the years.
As you may be aware, FBIN and Alexijan Consults under our Youth Farm (YFarm) Project are joining Oxfam Nigeria, Farm & Infrastructure Foundation and other member organizations of the Voices for Food Security in the #United4Food Campaign to advocate to our Government to promote Right to Food and Food Security for every Citizen.
The Campaign which targets at least one million stakeholder endorsements, has 4 key strategic objectives:
1. End the rising cost of food in Nigeria, due to periodic food shortages, we want the Federal and State governments to:
2. Increase the agricultural budget to a minimum of 10%, as part of their commitment to ending hunger by 2025 in Nigeria.
3. Allocate funding to reduce the impact of changing weather on small scale farmers, to improve food security in Nigeria.
4. Empower communities to participate in decision making processes and ensure accountability and transparency in the Agricultural sector.
