Seasons' Greetings to everyone. We want to thank Dr. Okafor and family for signing up to bring baked chicken. Dr. Okafor, thank you very much. We are proud of you. We are still waiting for those that have not signed up.
We went through "A Call to Service" and "A Call to Donate" series. All this is to plead to your conscience. Someone has agreed to do 40 pieces of meat pie if someone else will bring a microwave. So, let me know if any of you will bring a microwave so that I will inform the potential donor. We are still waiting for people to sign up for: Chin chin, Fried meat/stew, hot dog and buns, salad, yam pottage, and meat pie. So, the list / roll call is still on. Put your name on the roll call.
We want to remind all Nigerians who took surveys from Mrs. Alabi to please complete it and bring it with them to the New Year celebration on Saturday at the Constitution Hall, Motel 6 by 6 p.m. We thank you for your time in completing these surveys. Please do not forget to return them.
As I mentioned earlier, someone, a student from Africa, is in dire need of our help. We will be having a basket/tray for collections as regards that on Saturday. Please be generous.
One more thing, we encourage all Nigerians to attend our forth coming celebration on Saturday. It is not only going to be Old Year/ New Year celebration. It will also be an award night. We want to thank all individuals, both Nigerians and non Nigerians who have rendered outstanding service to our noble Association. Let me speak like an American: Sure, its gonna be fun.
