Compliments of the season many many times again. Seasons Greetings. Merry Christmas. Happy and Prosperous New Year. All from your servants: the executive members that you appointed to serve. We want to thank Mrs. Angela Dzata for her generous pledge of Fried stewed hen. The Dzata family, thank you very very very very................much. We are proud of you. Please let us take some time and reflect on the Call Series: A Call to Donate.
A Call Series: A Call to Donate
What does it mean to donate? In this season of joy, of love, of giving, of celebration, have you remembered the poor in our homeland and in our midst, the orphans, the motherless, the needy? Have you given to humanitarian organizations like the Salvation Army, SmileTrain, Doctors Without Borders, St, Jude's Children's Hospital and the like? Please remember all those mentioned and donate generously to help them.
Also very important: we have a student here in Alabama that really need our help. We are making this call on time prior to our celebration on New Year day so that you can help, in any way that you can. We will be grateful.
Further, what are we going to eat that day? Or are we going to fast? If the latter is no, then are we going to eat rice and palm oil, ofe akwu, ewedu soup, or erikiako soup, or periwinkles? Thanks a lot to Mrs. Dzata and other generous Nigerians who have pledged to bring food. Mrs. Dzata just signed up to bring Fried stewed and hen. Her name is now on the register. We are asking, pleading, soliciting, even begging and (all other synonyms you can include) to put your name on the register.
What are the things remaining? They are:
Chin Chin
Fried meat and stew
Hot dog and buns
Salad
Yam Pottage
Meat Pie
These are the things remaining for your Association to have a wonderful celebration on New Year day. Please do not let us down.
