Rauf Aregbesola (Osun) escaped, but Daramola (Ekiti) was swallowed by
the dragon of political assassination that rages and roams around
Nigeria as we approach the crucial electioneering in tye next 7-8
months.
All the account of murders and attemted murders points to the ruling
PDP which is currently embroiled in an implosion. The Nobel laurate
Professor Wole Soyinka had called the PDP some few years back when Bola
Ige was murdered in a similar mystery murder (yet to be unraveled today
after five years), "A NEST OF KILLERS".
Controversy still rages over whether the PDP governor of Osun State,
retired army colonel Olagunsoye Oyinlola, was behind the obviously
sponsored assassination attempt on rauf Aregbesola. The bullets-ridden
Jeep of Aregbesola has enough proof of the qestion "WHO WANTS
AREGBESOLA DEAD.
Yesterday, the TV stations were awashed with pictures of protests by
youths who demanded for the release from unlawful detention of
Aregbesola, whom they claim during interview by pressmen that he can no
longer be found in police custody. despite a court ruling that he
should be released to enforce his fundamental human rights.
