"A o merin joba'... countdown to the dance of shame.

As nigerians await the re- election (or is it the elongation of the
presidency) of a new president in the year 2007, one can only but
marvel at the re-nactment of yet another dance of shame by our so
called political leaders.
It is so soon after the death of of the late military dictator, abacha,
yes soon, (for 8yrs (1998 is a very small period in the life of a
nation) that nigerian leaders will once again sow for themselves the
shameful garment ('aso ebi"), thier taditional attire and call a party
of shame for the whole world to watch them crown for their own self a
new king.

A o merin joba, a yoruba language term that says the elephant must be
king is the best way to descibe the unfolding events in our nation now.
our leaders will stop at nothing to justify and denounce themslves in
arguments and counter arguments for the sustainance of "thier fledging
democracy.. their democracy" afterall they are the beneficiaries of the
fat sitting allowances.

The predsident must remain in office as king, no he must go is the song
of our politicians now. And for what? thier pockets.
No light, no water, no debt, no bank failures, what hope for the future
of the common man.
in 2007 we shall see. we shall see how they dance and undress to become
naked and of course fall into the pit of justice.
he who has ears let him hear, judgement is here soon.
God will rise on our behalf the good people of Nigeria, the blood of
the destroyed will cry out in justice aginst those who have turned the
nation ionto their cash cow.
