Breaking news: The three expatriate (Italians) staff of SAIPEM
Contracting Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of ENI, that were kidnapped
by Niger-Delta militants in broad daylight yesterday were freed this
afternoon in Port Harcourt.

The prosecution of the Third Term Agenda (TTA) by the Presidency is
being seen by the restive youth of the Niger-Delta a an elongation of
their persecution by the "unfriendly" regime of OBJ. This release is a
relief to the polity, but the greater the intensity and activity of TTA
politicians, the more the responsive wave of violence by an alienated
youth who felt they are being defiled by a government that does not
care a hoot for their land, water and air.
