Subject: [UNFCCC youth] Call for Nigerian youth for help on documentary on Shell/Niger Delta
To: Youth Participation to UNFCCC Process <
unfccc...@googlegroups.com>
Hello everyone!
I'm a French-British freelance journalist based in the UK and a member of the UK Youth Climate Coalition.
I am working on a potential documentary about Shell in the Niger Delta (Nigeria) and the future of young people in the region. People there have lived with chronic pollution all their lives because of oil spills and oil exploration in the delta. While the big oil companies have pocketed the proceeds, the people have received nothing but the destruction of their once fertile land.
I am looking to connect with Nigerian youths who may have worked/know a lot about the issue or are from the Niger Delta region.
If ever you know of anyone or may be able to help yourself, I would love to hear from you.
Thank you so much in advance.
Climate love to all,
Chloe
