Open heart surgery at Biket Medical Centre

Dear Secretary,
It gives me great pleasure to inform members of our distinguished Society that Biket Medical Centre, Osogbo started another series of congenital heart surgeries today, 2nd December 2014. We did two VSD closures (in a 2- year old 10kg boy and an 8-month old 6kg boy).
We shall keep members informed of the outcome of all the surgeries in this series.
We thank members of the society who have in many ways contributed to the commencement of these surgeries

Congratulations Dr uvie and your team. We also commenced paediatric heart surgeries on Monday at Garki Hospital Abuja on 1st Dec. 2TOFs a VSD and PDA done so far. All have been successful so far. Will feed the house of the outcome at the end of the week when we are done.
