Dear all,

We would like to remind you to please submit your candidate nominations for the 2023 cohort of Lown Scholars.

Kindly send a CV to @Danaei, Goodarz for those you would like to propose, ensuring they meet our criteria (below) by 14 October 2022. 

  • Eligibility criteria:
    • Hold a full-time position in an LMIC
    • Have demonstrated interest and experience in public health and CVD prevention
    • Mid-career, defined as:
      • about 5 to 15 years after their highest degree
      • at least 10 publications on CVD prevention
      • served as principal investigator (PI) or co-investigator on a few small projects but no major projects as PI

I hope this message finds you well. We have now opened the next round of admission applications for the 2023 cohort of Lown Scholars and would like to ask you to nominate candidates for consideration.
