Dear World Heart Day supporter,
As you may know, we have now launched World Heart Day 2014. This year we are focusing on creating a global movement to harness the power of individuals to protect their own, and others', heart health. We recognise that not all individuals have the best opportunities to make heart-healthy choices. For exmaple, some people often lack access to healthy foods or to smoke-free workplaces. So this World Heart Day we are putting the spotlight on creating heart-healthy environments, enabling people to make positive changes that can reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke. The campaign invites people to: Join the global movement for better heart-healthy choices wherever you live, work and play. This year we are also placing a greater emphasis on sharing activities and heart-healthy environments through Twitter: #heartchoices. We believe this will help to create a wider World Heart Day community and a real buzz about the global activity taking place. You can now order the campaign leaflet and poster and tell us about your World Heart Day Plans using the online form on the World Heart Federation website.
I would like to thank you for your continued support for World Heart Day and if you have any questions regarding this year's campaign, please don’t hesitate to contact me, Rachel Shaw: rache...@worldheart.org. For any issue regarding membership, please contact Sophie Fux: sophi...@worldheart.org
Best wishes, Rachel Shaw and your World Heart Day Team
