Dear Dr. Ogah,

I hope you are well, we are looking forward to our joint symposiums starting next week. I wanted to share with you that Dr. Olafiranye and I will be in Lagos the week of Sep 6 to assist with patients needing PCI procedures. Please feel free to share with your colleagues. If you or your colleagues have patients with severe angina, recent MI or other high risk findings, we would be glad to consider them for angiography and PCI. Dr. Oladimeji (also copied) can help with logistics. Do stay safe during during these troubled times. We hope to reunite again soon.

Regards,
Tayo

Greetings Sir,

Procedures in Nothern Nigeria would be hosted at Cardiocare Multispecialty Hospital, Garki Abuja on September 8th to 9th, 2021 for coronary as well as peripheral vascular cases. A short medical referral report, ECG, recent creatinine result, Echocardiogram would be needed as much as possible where available.

Costs start at 300,000 (diagnostic only) to a max of 900,000 in very extensive interventions and is reserved for financially limited individuals (extreme financial disability would be allowed to have procedures at no cost except medication costs).

It would include:
  1. A non-residential hands-on introduction to interventions for about 8-10 cardiologists or SRs. Pre-registration is required and It would be nice if they can bring their lead aprons or borrow some to add to ours). No fees would be charged for financial members of the NCS.
  2. Mini press briefing with members of the team to help increase awareness on interventions in Nigeria and it’ll be nice if NCS can play a role in this.
  3. A case may be recorded (before or during the program) for demonstration purposes at the upcoming NCS conference.

Kind regards Sir.

Dr. ISEKO, Iseko
Consultant Physician/Cardiologist
Cardiocare Multispecialty Hospital
5 Giza Close, Area 11,
Garki, Abuja,
Nigeria.
