Open House(Funding Strategy II) for NGO,CBO and Social Entreprenuers

In March 2011, Africa Women and Youth Organization hosted the first Open House Training for NGOs to meet with Funding organizations, 28 organization benefited from this training as TY Danjuma Foundation (The foremost indigenous funding organization in Nigeria) was available to shed insight on requirement for accessing funds for projects

Based on the feed back from the first session this year, a second session has been prepared to help organizations plan for the 2012 funding circle.

The second seion of Open House series (Funding Strategy II) will bring the funding agencies and development partners
close to the key civil society players to discuss how to increase funding for their change projects, know more about upcoming grants and funds in 2012, answer call for proposals, identify the pitfalls in answering the call for proposals, understand why some proposals are accepted or preferred over others, and many other issues that are
relevant to excellent delivery in the Non-profit sector.

The lead discussants at the event some of whose participation have been confirmed are top Executive Director from the TY Danjuma Foundation, the Chairman (ICT), Code of Conduct Bureau and the President of United African Youth Initiative (UNAYI)
