Colleagues,

The Business and Human Rights Resource Centre is pleased to announce the launch of two new platforms on company and government actions on business and human rights, which are available in 9 languages:

·       Company Action Platform

·         Government Action Platform

The platforms include information provided by 94 companies and 41 governments on their business and human rights policies and practices, as well as recent news and commentaries from civil society.  We welcome commentaries on any company or government response or failure to respond.

Civil society organizations can use the platform in research and advocacy to press for further action by companies and governments.  Users can view individual responses, compare responses (including across regions & sectors), and search for specific issues or actions.  A brief analysis of key trends is also provided, with more in-depth analysis to follow.

They welcome any feedback you may have as well as commentaries for inclusion on the platforms.  Please see the press release below for more details.

Feel free to share the platforms on social media via this Tweet: Compare #BizHumanRights actions by 94 companies & 41 governments on @BHRRC's #ActionPlatform: bit.ly/1LC7Kgs
