My name is Aaisha , and I am currently working with the District Administration Lohardaga, as an PPIA Fellow. We are implementing a project focused on building a design-led craft and apparel ecosystem in Lohardaga, aimed at training and skill development for artisans across multiple crafts, including apparel, woven textiles, bamboo, dokra/metal craft, dari–kaleen, and accessories/home décor.

The core objective of this project is to develop ~50 Master Trainers who can sustainably mentor artisans in their respective crafts, integrating design, quality, and market orientation. We are proposing capacity-building and training support from NIFT, and we would greatly value your guidance on structuring the training modules, Master Trainer development, and inclusion of potential crafts such as handloom within the program.

Please find attached the project concept note for your reference. We would be very grateful if you could review it and provide your insights or suggestions.
