Hi NIEVI-ans,
Hopefully this will be my LAST email "demand" from all of you. heh. I am uploading the project onto pbWiki (still in the process), so if you want a copy, download from there. All printed out by Thursday. So let's just leave it to Shaun & Rizman to bring us to a closure - submission on Mon, debrief and presentation. So we chill.
It was awesome to be working with all of you. More with some and less with others. No matter, a pleasure. There were stories of members quarreling and bitching about each other, serious disagreements with their facilitators (one sent in formal complaint against their leaders), leaders quitting during Practicum and sponsors running away (leaving each member to pay around $450 each). Thankfully, no dramas within ours :D smooth-flowing huh?
So thank you for your awesomeness. Enjoy the few weeks you have here in NIE, before you embark on THAT arduous journey of being an educator. As told to me by my Social Studies HOD and in my own words:
Whether you decide to continue to become a teacher or not at the end of the 3 years; understand the reasons as to why you are here. Hold on to your dreams. Always keep them in mind so that you will not despair, waiver and lose yourself in the process.
and my CT (in my own words as well):
Its okay to screw up your lessons. Sometimes you have no control over certain things. Learn and move on.
Myself:
(1) Always always always always always have a social life and other interests outside school. Be an exciting being.
(2) You do not need external validation (approval from others) to know your good and bad points. Stand up for yourself when you need to (logically and diplomatically of course) and stay away from those who are putting you down. Your rights to your own opinions and the way you want to do things/live life - do not take yourself for granted.
okay enuff said.
toodles.
love,
