Dear GESL Groups,

Service Learning Day will be held on 21 September 2010. The GESL
booths for the “Show & Tell” session will be setup outside LT1.

The panels and info counters will also be marked with your group’s
number. You can also decorate your info counter with printed
materials etc. You may start putting up your exhibits after 6pm on
Monday, 20 Sept 2010 when all the panels are up.

The booths should be ready by 9.00am on Tuesday, 21 Sept 2010 for
inspection by the GESL Office. For light materials you can use blu-
tac to hold it on the panels. For heavy materials e.g. cardboards and
posters, you may wish to use mounting tapes instead. Please be
reminded not to use map pins/thumbtacks to pin up your exhibits as
this will damage the board panels. Groups are responsible for their
own boards and are liable to pay for any damages to the vendor.

Group members who are sitting in for the presentations, you may
proceed to LT 1. Please be seated by 2.25pm, if not soonest possible,
and the event will start by 2.30pm. Please note that each group is
required to roster members to man the booths from 9.30am to 5.30pm on
21 September 2010 (*We will stick to the original schedule since the
booth is required to be ready at 0900). The exhibits can be dismantled
after 5.30pm when all guests have toured around and viewed the
exhibits.

The attire for the Service-Learning Day is smart causal. Slippers/
flip flops, shorts and singlets are not allowed.

We will also like to request for the submission of your project
artifacts. This will include your latest project proposal, photos,
presentation slides (if any), reports (if any) and other end product
of your project (posters, programme etc, if any). Please include
these in a CD and submit to Student Development Unit at NIE2-03-02A by
30 September 2010. Submission is compulsory.

If you haven’t submit the GESL claims please note that the timeframe
to submit is from now till 15 October 2010. Be sure to submit original
receipts without markings on it.

Please help to forward this message to the rest of your group
members.
