Possible Phishing Attack

Folks, I just received two emails from two different people, both of whom I guess might be on this listserv. 

The emails don’t have any information in them except some reference to a document and a DocuSign or something. I think this is phishing!

Because I have not been in conversation with either of those individuals for a very long time. There is no reason for them to be sending me something in that manner!

Same here. Always check the email addresses and who is in the email. I see that I was sent a bcc. Thus, it is clearly phishing.

I have been getting more and more emails from "people I know"

That have a document attached.

I ignore the email and contact the person directly from a known email address.

In these instances, they have had their email address "Spoofed" or hacked.

Unless you are expecting something from some one NEVER Click on an attachment or link. 

Malware will be installed on your computer and you will have a giant mess on your hands
