Dinner after running the Dragon Sat or Sunday?

Formal Restaurant- Mountview Bistro

For the Mountview Bistro we will need to make a reservation for groups
of 8 and over.

They will put us in a separate dining room called the Bear’s Den.

We’re still trying to find a place to have the BBQ.

Fontana dam - sick!
and how long of a ride is that full circle? do you think everyone's
car will make it around the route? I guess we need to see what kinda
shape everyone's in after the long ass drive to get there lol.

I'm going to guess that full circle is about 100 miles.
I was planning to do this after the BBQ or maybe the next day on Sunday.

Ryan was saying that we should do the Dragon down, up and back down. Then maybe around the loop.

I know I definitely want to hit the dragon,  the cherohala skyway, & the blue ridge parkway. I've heard the moonshiner 28 is pretty good. The devils triangle is pretty messed up rift now, so it might not be the best place to bring lowered 240's.

I also want to go to the dam for pictures.

The concierge at the hotel is finding out if Fontana dam has built in BBQs. If not maybe someone local can bring one. Or we can just pick up one on the way in.

We will definitely have to pick up supplies before we get to the hotel. The nearest town is 22 miles from there.

The circle looks like a good ride.  I would suggest taking the Foot Hills Parkway over the Happy valley road.  The parkway has some crazy views and the road is newly paved.  I would be able to ride that circle Saturday if that is when you decide to go but, if you guys end up doing it sunday i'd have to pass due to time constraints...That circle will probably take 7-8hr depending on how many times you guys decide to stop.
