Wild Asian elephants live in some of the most densely human-populated regions of the world. They also require large areas of habitat and lots of food, which puts them in frequent and sometimes deadly conflict with people. Logging, development and agriculture to produce crops such as oil palms have drastically reduced elephant habitat throughout Asia. Poaching for ivory, meat and other products also takes a significant toll on elephant populations.

The automatic nesting cell is one of the intelligent nesting solutions in the automatic production line of panel furniture. It combines the labeling system, nesting CNC router, and various auxiliary equipment. So the nesting cell can minimize manpower and improve material yield, enabling massive and customized production.

This nesting cell consists of a high-speed automatic labeling machine, two automatic loading and unloading ATC nesting CNC machines, a power drum line, and a central control system. Operators only need to put the wooden boards on the lifting platform. Then the labeling machine will automatically label the board, and then the central control system will automatically assign it to the nesting center to for cutting.

Optional robot system can be selected for completing the work of palletizing, utilization of residual materials, and waste output.

1. The central control system has the function of optimizing cutting program, which saves time and reduces the waste of plates. At the same time, it supports to supply plates on-site without making files and importing data for one single plate. The processing volume reaches about 240 panels in 8 hours.
2. With simple operation, common workers can operate the nesting cell. The operator just needs to copy the processing program into the central control system and start the machine without operating each machine.
3. The processing of wooden boards placed under the same order is optimized and advanced quickly, improving efficiency and bringing considerable benefits.
4. This nesting cell can be operated continuously among several shifts, which reduces the manual restrictions and standby time.
5. It effectively reduces production errors and material damage caused by human operation.
6. It is more convenient to monitor the whole production process.

Amarula is a cream liqueur from South Africa. It is made with sugar, cream and the fruit of the African marula tree (Sclerocarya birrea) which is also locally called the elephant tree or the marriage tree. It has an alcohol content of 17% by volume (34 proof). It has had some success at international spirit ratings competitions, winning a gold medal at the 2009 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.[1] It has the taste of slightly fruity caramel.

African bush elephants enjoy eating the fruit of the marula tree.[citation needed] Because of the marula tree's association with elephants, the distiller has made them its symbol and supports elephant conservation efforts, co-funding the Amarula Elephant Research Programme at the University of Natal, Durban.[4] For marketing efforts, it produces elephant-themed collectible items.[5]

The brand supports elephant research to protect elephants and conserve the population. In 2002, the Amarula Elephant Research Program (AERP) was launched under the direction of Rob Slotow, a professor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa. This primarily researches the way of life, the range of movement and the behavior of the African elephant with the aim of protecting the habitat of the elephants and securing their future in the wild.[6]

EMA President Tripp Gorman stated, "EMA is very excited to have two incredible hosts collaborate and open their doors to elephant professionals from around the world. Delegates will get the opportunity to attend two premier elephant care facilities and learn from colleagues while experiencing Texan hospitality. We are planning a conference that will give everyone plenty of opportunities to discover and exchange new ideas."

Fort Worth Zoo features Elephant Springs, an award-winning habitat, that immerses guests into an Asian-themed fishing village. Lush landscapes and sparkling watering holes provide a continuously enriching experience for the Zoo's herd of Asian elephants. The multiple varied habitats allow for endless exploring and give the herd members opportunities to mix and mingle in ways that they would in the wild. The indoor habitat contains 11 stalls with substrate floors that are interconnected. This complex is equipped with indoor and outdoor training spaces that provide keepers with the ability to get up-close views and, in some cases, hands-on examinations of the animals. Fort Worth Zoo's Elephant Springs is dedicated to caring for a multigenerational herd, providing each member with all the creature comforts.

EMA partners with elephant programs that stand out as leaders in the elephant community to host the annual conference. The annual gathering promotes the cooperative exchange of information, open channels of communication, and meaningful networking opportunities for all elephant care professionals. Host facilities are chosen based on their commitment to elephants, their support of conservation and research efforts, their hospitality, and their demonstrated willingness to foster growth and development in all who work closely with elephants.

EMA's annual conference is the most accessible and affordable opportunity for elephant care professionals to expand their knowledge and professional network. Delegates will receive cutting edge information focusing on professional elephant management trends and will have the opportunity to see firsthand the methods employed by other established elephant programs.

The post-conference trip will be at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center near Glen Rose, TX. Fossil Rim is a wildlife park specializing in captive breeding programs for indigenous and exotic endangered and threatened species. A unique wildlife experience, Fossil Rim is home to species such as black rhinoceros, white rhinoceros, Arabian oryx, dama gazelle, Grevy's zebra, Przewalski's horse, eastern mountain bongo, sable antelope, scimitar-horned oryx, maned wolf, and cheetah. Registration for the post-conference trip costs $50.

The EMA Conference Committee is currently seeking donations to offset the costs of the 44th Annual EMA Conference. All contributors will be recognized throughout the conference during our program and throughout signage. This is a wonderful opportunity to show your support for both elephants and elephant professionals. To learn more about how you or your organization can help donate to the 2023 EMA Conference, please view the 44th Annual EMA Conference Sponsorship Letter.

Each year during the annual conference, the host facility gathers items for a silent auction. The silent auction is held during the conference's banquet night. All proceeds form the silent auction help fund our annual scholarship awards. We are currently gathering elephant books, art, clothing, and collectibles. Even if you are not able to attend the 2023 EMA Conference, you can still donate your items. We encourage all donors to donate items via mail before the conference. All donations must be submitted with a donation form and shipped to the address indicated on the form. To donate, please complete the EMA Silent Auction Donation Form, and print and send with your items to the address listed on the form.

How do you get in on the action? It's easy. Work with a local brewery to develop a special, seasonal brew to benefit elephants. (If they don't do seasonal brews, you can ask them to designate the proceeds from an existing beer to elephants for a limited time.) Bring a 12-pack of that brew to the 2023 EMA Conference, and you are set. You can coordinate a launch event and celebrate your work locally. These events are elephantastic!

Make sure to save at least a 12-pack of your elephant-brew and bring it to the EMA Conference in Dallas/Fort Worth in October, where we will hold an epic tasting competition. You and your brew will compete for Best Brew, Best Brew People's Choice, Best Label Design, and more! Winners of the BREW Off tasting event will receive a trophy and the epic bragging rights! This year, there's an additional prize: $500 Gift Certificate to the IEF Store. The person or team who raises the most for their brewery fundraiser will win the grand prize!
