Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Job Responsibilities: Years of experience in Quantity Surveying for MEP Packages for Residential, Warehouse, Commercial & Industrial Projects. Role of QS: • Checking and certifying bills submitted by the contractor in line with Contract Terms & Conditions. Quantity to be certified as per relevant IS code or Standard industry practice. • Quantity take-off from approved drawings. • Physical measurement of each item claimed by the contractor. • Develop and submit the variance report on BOQ quantities corresponding to GFC and Tender quantity. • Proper record keeping & tracking of work certified for each Work Order/package. • Reconciliation of ITC supplied material, if any. • Generation of area wise quantity certification report as directed by the Project Team. Other Quantity Certification related Tasks/Reports as directed by the Project Team. Additional Requirement: • Excellent Communication skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Excel & AutoCad. • Good Knowledge of IS codes & Quantity Surveying techniques.
