Dear All,

Although Safety is top priority of Company, COST and TIME plays important role when it comes to HSE implementation.

For my site, I am planning to implement a new system called Cost benefit Analysis. CBA is a American system, generally not found in Indian construction Sites.

CBA, simply put, is a safety valuation of risk of performing a task vs. performing a task in proposed way. Basically we will compare the cost incurred due to any incident to the cost(MONEY & Time) required for Changes to shun that particular incident in future. We basically try to prove that cost of change is much lower than cost of accident, so that contractor's can understand their savings in term of Money and Time.

I am attaching a excel file containing a Cost Benefit Analysis of recent incident happened at my site. I request you all to go through it so that we can discuss the same for value addition. The attached format was prepared by me and I am sure with help of you all guys, We can improve it and implement it on our respective site.

I urge everyone to spare some time from their busy schedule to give suggestions on subject.

@ Rajaprasad sir: Please correct me If I am wrong, but this can be included in our syllabus also.

Warm Regards,
Tilak Agrawal,

                                                  (:GO GREEN:)
