On basically any gaming info site it says Ragnarok is like 20h long or so. I mean what the hell. I am 16 hours in and barely done with 1/3rd of the game. So far I haven't touched any side quests and barely loose fights. I am playing on Give Me Balance and at this rate it will take me over 40 hours to get done with the main story.
While the 2018's God of War had The Lake of Nine, which acted as a wide-open hub, where you could engage in a multitude of different side activities, the other worlds were far more linear in comparison. The same cannot be said about Ragnarok, though. Now, multiple Lake of Nine-style areas exist throughout the different worlds. The scale of the side activities has increased substantially as well. Needless to say, there is a lot of game here. Which begs the question, 'how long does it take to beat?'
To 100 percent God Of War Ragnarok: Valhalla, you must do things like complete Mastery Quests, fight at The Forum, and find all the Boat Captain keys. Doing all this and acquiring any remaining trophies will take you a few hours longer than just beating the story. On average, it takes around ten hours to do this sort of completionist run.

Hey so I play on the center, Xbox, single player and I was just curious, how do the loot crates work? I have been grinding deep sea crates and cave drops to find a good rex/therizino saddle BP but they seem to never respawn, or if they do it takes many hours. I was just hoping for some clarification. Also, is there a way to speed up loot crate respawn time? And does anyone have any suggestions on where to find a good rex/therizino saddle BP? Thanks!
In an interview with YouTube Kaptain Kuba, the reboot's director Cory Barlog explained that given how long each game has so far taken to make, a full trilogy with a single story would have likely spanned roughly 15 years.
In short, the answer to that question is a resounding yes, though as those looking to find out how long it takes to beat Valhalla will soon discover, short isn't really a word that describes the God of War Ragnarok DLC. In fact, it's a surprisingly sizable expansion, especially as players are able to download it without spending a dime.
Of course, these numbers can be massively different for each player. For example, it had taken me much longer than the 40-hour estimate to finish God of War (2018). I am the kind of player that is never in any rush, as I enjoy searching every corner as well as soaking in the whole experience as much as possible.

We can't really blame enemies for packing ranged weapons when the alternative would be to duke it out face-to-face with a superhero, but it doesn't make them any less annoying when you have to interrupt your combo to dodge a shot from far off. By hitting triangle and R1, you can snag that pesky gun and throw it back at your attacker to even the playing field.
Bounce Up
It isn't super realistic, but you can't deny how fun air combos are in Spider-Man 2. If you want to really juggle your prey for as long as possible, adding the Bounce Up skill lets you slam an enemy down with triangle and bounce them back up into the air to reset your air combo.
KO Recharge
Abilities take a long time to come back, but there are a few skills that can speed things up. The best of the bunch is KO Recharge, which restores some of your abilities for every KO, finisher, or stealth takedown you pull off. There are other ability recharging skills you could invest in, but you will always be KOing enemies, so this is the most reliable.
Web Line Double Takedown
Speaking of stealth takedowns, the only downside to stealth is that it can be a little tedious webbing up criminals one at a time. This is especially true when multiple goons are hanging out near each other and will notice if you try and snag their buddies. This move only works when you're on a web line, but does let you stealth takedown two enemies at once rather than just one.
