Selama berada di Roma, kru The Chosen mengunjungi gereja-gereja Katolik bersejarah yang berisi relik para rasul dan tokoh-tokoh alkitab lainnya yang digambarkan dalam film mereka. Gereja-gereja tersebut termasuk relikui kaki St. Maria Magdalene dan kepala St. Yohanes Pembaptis, serta makam rasul St. Yakobus Lesser dan St. Filipus.
Musim pertama The Chosen fokus pada pertemuan awal antara Yesus dan murid-murid pertamanya, termasuk Simon Petrus, Matius, dan Maria Magdalena. Episode awal musim kedua membahas ketenaran Yesus yang semakin meningkat dan diakhiri dengan Khotbah di Bukit. Tim produksi saat ini sedang mempersiapkan syuting musim ketiga untuk film yang mereka rencanakan menjadi serial tujuh musim.
The Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) is an annual film festival held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The festival has partnered with the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) since its inaugural edition in 2006.[1] It aims to introduce Asian cinema to a wider audience and provides a space for arts, culture, and tourism.
Several Indonesian filmmakers, Garin Nugroho, Ifa Isfansyah, Budi Irawanto, Yosep Anggi Noen, Ajish Dibyo, Dyna Herlina and Ismail Basbeth along with NETPAC curator Philip Cheah, initiated the festival.
The first edition of the festival was held from 7 to 12 August 2006, about three months after the 2006 Yogyakarta earthquake.[2] Kompas noted that the inaugural edition marked the recovery of Yogyakarta post-earthquake.[3] Meanwhile, Eric Sasono of Tempo noted that the festival created a new film market to develop the Asian cinema even further.[4]
An Indo-Japanese film festival is on at Aikatan, EZCC, from today to Sunday, to which entry is free. It is being organised by Bidhannagar Film Society and the consulate general of Japan, in association with EZCC.
Moreton, which is fringed with protected beaches and washed by aqua-hued waters, served as one of the outdoor film sets where beach scenes from the movie, which features Roberts and Clooney as a divorced couple who travel together to Bali to try to stop their daughter from marrying a man she just met, were filmed in December 2021. The island is home to Tangalooma Island Resort, which boasts a range of accommodation types from hotel rooms to beachfront villas and was the setting for the dolphins swimming scene and other coastal segments.
The electronic structure of periodic materials is usually described on the basis of band-structure models, in which each state is not only characterized by its energy but also by the corresponding electron momentum. In this paper we present investigations of momentum-dependent excitation processes in a number of molecular crystals and amorphous thin films. For our studies we have chosen ladder-type quinquephenyl (5LP), distyrylbenzene (3PV), a substituted quinquephenylenevinylene (5PV), and a bridged quarterthienyl (4TB). These substances are representative for several classes of conjugated organic materials. Their physical properties are dominated by the molecular building blocks. The investigated films, however, also allow us to study differences in the characteristics of crystalline (3PV and 4TB), partly amorphous (5LP) and fully amorphous (5PV) systems. Momentum-dependent excitations are induced by inelastic electron scattering in electron-energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS) experiments. The experimental data are compared to molecule based post-Hartree-Fock quantum-chemical simulations performed with the intermediate neglect of differential overlap (INDO) approach coupled to a configuration interaction (CI) technique applying the proper momentum-dependent transition matrix elements. Our results show that even in relatively small systems the molecular electronic states can be characterized by an associated range in momentum space. In addition, differences between inelastic electron scattering spectra for low values of momentum transfer and the optical data obtained for the crystalline samples underline the strong impact of light propagation on the absorption characteristics of highly anisotropic crystalline materials.

The Playwrights' Week selection process started in November of 2006. Hundreds of scripts were submitted through the Lark's open submission policy. Finalists were chosen through a rigorous process involving the Lark's Literary Wing, comprised of dozens of theatre artists and community members.
