Hi J,
How goes? Well I haven't been able to run Preview Build v.579 on my
PowerBook G4 so I'm still juggling between Preview Build v.577 and the
stable release. I tested both versions and unfortunately both crashes.
Hardware,
PowerPC G4 running 10.5.4
Situation,
An ".avi" along with ".srt" subtitles.
Error,
I extracted this from the console:

Cause,
I'm 100% sure that its the subtitles that are causing the crash. If I
remove the subtitles and re-run the file, it plays just fine.
Clues,
As I open the file in VLC, it launches fine and show the subtitles but
it does gives out a more detailed error, perhaps it can help you in
