indent/unindent command?

Hello, new to ne editor, but i like it so far. one thing i can't seem to find is any commands for indenting/unindenting lines. does such a thing exist?

Well... if you use TABs to indent, it's just add-a-tab o delete-a-tab. There is nothing fancy from indenting blocks.

If you have in mind a fixed aligning (like: I want to add 3 tabs to the next 10 lines) just learn it: ^T TAB TAB TAB CTRL-A ARROW-DOWN ^T and then repeat wither with F9 or the play command...

Not as such, no. For unindenting (or "outdenting"), I move into the white space on the left of the first line I want to outdent and start a vertical selection (^@ i.e. cntl-2 or cntl-shift-2 depending on your terminal). The go down to the last line I want to outdent and to the right as needed, then cut.

For indenting, start with a single column outdent, that is, cut out a one character wide (or one tab wide if you work in tabs) column of white space, the repeatedly vertical-paste (^w) it back in until the block has been shifted right as much as you like. If you over do it, undo is your friend.
