The deadline to sign up for a Northwest Institute for Community Enrichment (NICE) team has been extended to Sunday, 9/19 at 5pm Pacific Standard Time.  

This means you are in luck, you get 2 more days to apply!!!

Here is a quick overview:

The NICE Advisory Committee is a learning community which creates the space for the collaboration between local teams, regional teams, and national teams who are all uncovering methods for creating sustainable, inclusive, and locally based community solutions and organizing methodology.  

It consists of the following membership types and teams:

• Membership Types:
• All teams have core members who participate regularly 
• Teams may also have support members who participate infrequently and when they feel they have the capacity.
• for local teams there must be at least one core member to get started, indicate your interest and we will help work out the details.
• Teams:
• Regional Coordination and Programs- will be the main organizing body of the NICE.  Handles regional programs and events, supports local teams as they get started and develop their local program, collaborates with Grand Aspirations and local teams to host Summer of Solutions programs in the Northwest.
• Local Program Teams- develop and coordinate local programs that utilize the solutionary method to create inclusive and sustainable local communities.  
• Grand Aspirations National Committees- are national teams that include people from around the country who are working on local solutions.  These committees are focused mainly on Summer of Solutions program support and the development of a national learning community for how to create local solutions.

This is the year of the solutionary, I can feel it! (and we really have no other choice)
