I am sorry that it has taken me a couple days to get back to you, and also that we haven't been able to connect earlier.  When the EAC sent out their summer program application we had already gone through a round of applications for our program and it was difficult to muster a second round that was not originally in our plan.  All excuses aside though, I am glad that we are connecting now.  

I want to connect you to the NICE Summer of Solutions 2010 coordinators.  I have cc'd their google group email, which will connect all of them to this discussion.  Our Launch Week is next week (starting on Monday the 28th at 2pm and running through Saturday the 3rd), if you are wanting to be a full-time participant in the program it would be great if you could make it to this.  If you are planning on being more of a part-time/sometimes participant we can make sure to keep you posted as the program develops.  Basically, next week the full-time participants will develop the program plan, launch their team, and get to know the community.  After that we will have a more specific plan with events and activities that people can plug into.  I know we are going to talk on the phone in about 30 min so I will leave it at this.  

Thanks again for taking the initiative and getting in touch with us.  I can't wait to meet you in person!
