(Dates and times in blue are Transfer START days and run slightly shorter than the First-year dates.)
Info Fair ‘vendors’ are allowed to leave their booth and all materials in the MU Commons all summer long. On Tuesday, June 22 at 3pm we will be assigning tables and setting up for the first Info Fair that will be held that following Friday!
This is a great opportunity to make sure all is in order before the actual fair which starts early (7:30am) and I will be there to help with the process and to do any trouble shooting needed. Furthermore, each table will labeled with your organization/department
name to make it easy for you to find.
I have tried my best to accommodate everyone’s requests, but please be adaptable and let me know how to better suit your department’s needs.
Also, many of you have asked if you can leave your materials between START sessions. You are able to leave your stuff (anything valuable should not be left!!!) from June 22nd-July 28th, but then there is a pretty big gap until the next START session, so
you will have to clear your things after the July 28th fair and set-up again on August 23rd for the August 24th fair. I will be sending reminder emails, so don’t worry if this is kind of confusing. Just remember that the Commons area is open during the summer,
so leave your materials at your own risk!!!
Finally, anyone who requested electricity, the MU has many power strips, extension cords, etc., but if you want to bring your own, please do so (we are not providing laptops or other technology).
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. Thank you for being flexible this year and we look forward to seeing you at the first START session!
Thanks!
