Please find below a great opportunity from the UN Climate Change Secretariat to showcase innovative ICT solutions in the climate change field. 

 

Applications for this year's Momentum for Change 'Lighthouse Activities' are being accepted until May 23rd. 

 

This is the first time that the competition includes an ICT solutions pillar, which is implemented with the support of the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI).

The search for Momentum for Change’s 2014 Lighthouse Activities is on!

Applications are being accepted from 31 March to 23 May at www.momentum4change.org

 

Spearheaded by the UN Climate Change Secretariat, the Momentum for Change initiative shines a light on the most practical, scalable and replicable examples of what people around the world are doing to tackle climate change.

 

If you’re leading a small, entrepreneurial project or if you’re part of a large initiative that is transforming cities, governments and businesses, we want to hear from you!

 

The 2014 Lighthouse Activities will recognize climate action in four key areas: action by and for the urban poor; action that fosters women’s leadership and empowerment; action that is financing climate friendly investment; and action that uses ICT solutions.
