What impact do ICT-in-agriculture projects have on rural resilience?
A new open-access paper analyses 45 ICT4Ag cases from Africa and Asia. It finds an uneven impact: household resilience is built far more than community resilience, and equality is undermined almost as much as strengthened.
A new conceptual model is developed to explain the uneven impact of ICTs on rural resilience. Policy and practice recommendations and a future research agenda are set out.
