"The Future Research Agenda for ICTs, Climate Change and Development" is written for researchers, consultants and reflective practitioners working on ICTs, climate change and development.

The briefing outlines:

- Six key features which help map the ICTs, climate change and development (ICCD) research field

- The main knowledge gaps – and, hence, research priorities – relating to climate change mitigation, adaptation, monitoring, and strategy.

- Action steps required to take the ICCD research field forward

Links to thematic papers, case studies, other strategy briefs and materials on ICTs, climate change and development can be found at: http://www.niccd.org/

We encourage you to share ideas on ICTs, climate change and development via http://groups.google.co.uk/group/niccd and comment on key issues at: http://niccd.wordpress.com

This strategy brief is the product of the University of Manchester's "Climate Change, Innovation and ICTs" research project, funded by Canada's International Development Research Centre (http://www.idrc.ca) and managed by the University's Centre for Development Informatics (http://www.cdi.manchester.ac.uk).
