Gabe,

What stuff did you have a lot left over and what was all used up?

Hey Gabe,
Do you have a template donation letter we can use?

Thanks,

For the university fair I just held we had 100 participants. For check in, I gave out a name tag, with a bag that included a folder with a printed formal agenda as well as other materials like information about scholarship opps. There were also pens to take notes, extra scrap paper, post it notes and a small notebook. I was really fortunate to have INTUR (the national tourism office) donate many of these resources which was really helpful and they have some good looking swag. Their folders and notebooks are great. Because I just went to them and asked for a large donation I wouldn't feel so comfortable going back immediately. However, I think they would be on board with helping out. Especially because there will be girls from all over the country and I think they would like to get promo materials out there. Does anyone want to take charge of this? I can try to work on contact info for the Managua office.

Also, because we are approaching with sufficient time, I think banks are a great way to go because they do have promotional materials as well like bags and pens. And, I have actually found promotional materials somewhat difficult to come by. I am thinking BanCentro, ProCredit and BAC.

Larger hotels in Managua might also be a good place to go.

Where do we stand with the donation letter? If we still don't have it, I can work to revamp the one I used for my fair. Just let me know..

Noelle,

On Sharepoint, we have the letter that SBD uses to solicit for our competitions. But the majority of it doesn´t apply to the camp, so if we can send yours that would be helpful.

Hey folks,

Noelle, could you just revamp the letter so that we have it?  I'm about to go to the States and I was going to hit up my relatives for money...
