   روز یکشنبه سخنران مدعو آقای دکتر علی قاضی زاده ، محقق موسسه ملی سلامت آمریکا (NIH) ساعت یک در سالن شورای دانشکده فناوریهای نوین پزشکی (خ ایتالیا پ 88 طبقه دهم) سخنرانی خواهند داشت. عنوان سخنرانی به شرح زیر است:
 

"Brain circuits of value-based decision making: Recent advances in physiology and connectivity "

An ordinary day of an animal's life is full of encounters with environmental contexts and stimuli. The degree to which an individual decides to engage with the environment and their chosen actions depend on animal's past experience and future expectation of value for each interaction. Recent years have seen exciting developments and discoveries in delineating the circuitry and identifying the physiological role of various brains regions that are involved in value-based decision making. In this talk, I will review some of the key discoveries that relate connection and function of areas including substantia nigra, lateral habenula, basal ganglia and prefrontal cortex for learning and storage of stimulus incentive value and the subsequent guidance of the organisms behavior.The review will conclude with a discussion of some of the key gaps in our current understanding and possible future directions for this field of research.
