So all of a sudden I have started to get this error whenever I make an instance of Kontakt. Everything has worked perfectly for months, and then when I started up today I get this error message: "Fruity Wrapper plugin has caused a critical error while loading it's state" and then advices me to restart which don't fix it. I went on to uninstall both FL and Kontakt (including every created folder and every registry information) and installed them again completely fresh - still get the error...

Hi everyone! Its almost new years! Yay! I know this question prob been answered but what I want to do is midi a knob inside of my plugin. For instance midi the gain knob. I should be able to midi into the plugin with a midi controller if I select port, but not midi out? I have tested midi in FL Studio for the plugin and it worked but I had to go into properties and set the midi in port for the midi in and set the midi in port on the plugin. I never had to do this in the past. I thought it should be automatic mapping if I change the midi channel on the plugin, it should update it in the FL studio wrapper. Everything appears to work but I don't want make the option and then find out most audio daws can't midi into it.

Hi, I am using FL Studio on a brand new PC. Here's my issue; I'm getting consistent black screens when performing specific actions in FL. The only things that make me crash and are consistent: Using any stock 'tool' from inside the piano roll (such as Chopper, Quantanizer), trying to open any plugin from the Waves company (and there's a bunch of them, all valuable), or clicking the 'More Plugins' button specifically. More Details: I am a long-time user of FL, and I have fiddled with the settings for days now. ive only recently started making music using fruity loops and i find the ts404 to be a great synth, but it does have some limitations. the biggest being that you can't use it in the piano roll, this means i have to split up a longer riff into different patterns, but also that i cannot set it to hold a note. if i put some notes in the sequencer they will only by "pressed" and released, not held, when played. you know what i mean. anyway, is there a way around this? also, it uses its own delay settings. what's the difference between setting that and putting a delay effect on the channel? lower cpu usage?
and one more thing. when trying to put a plugin through the browser by going to the plugin db/generators and choosing muon tau or tritium for example i get a message - "fruity wrapper is not a generator... that is, it's not to be dropped onto a channel". but when looking in the folder i see theres a tritium.fst file there. what's with that? do i need to download the plugin or what?
i downloaded the muon tau VST. in the fl help it says i should put it in the plugins/vst folder, but then, i can access it only through the effects window. how do i add it as a channel in the step sequencer?
