AB-Edmonton - Telecom Technician Installer

Job Duties:

Infrastructure & cable installation;
Telephone equipment installation;
Cable identifications and/or terminations;
Status tests;
Start-up;
Software update;
Commissioning;
Troubleshooting and/or- any "power" related duties;

Qualifications:

Preferably have 3-5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry;
Have experience in a Central Office environment;
Have a certification or a diploma in telecommunications;
Have a valid driver license and a personal means of transportation;
Have a flexible work schedule (day, evening, night);
Knowledge of Nortel, Cisco, Harris, Siemens, Ericsson, Alcatel, Fujitsu,
Marconi, Lucent, NEC (asset);
Be bilingual (asset);
