I have the same issue on my older Del laptop. Placing d3dcompiler_43.dll in the exe folder does solve the issue. I found using one of the following commands also works, which I assume avoids ANGLE all together.

Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition. Hey ma mate. Have you reinstalled Windows? You restore a backup? You had a black screen error and you get one of these errors: d3d11.dll was not found, xinput1_3.dll was not found, D3DCompiler_43.dll was not found ? D3DCompiler_46.dll was not found ? actualy no matter because you can fix all these 4 errors once. How to do that ? just download directx from here and install it. And, if you want to have 100% change of No errors, also install these tools to fix Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition errors for Windows 7 or Windows 8.
