If you are trying to LINK these two repeaters via IP (using the UCFR5000), you must place the IP address of the other repeater in the MultiSite Settings à Multi-Site Operations page Direct IP Address List. You must also ENABLE Multi-Site Operations at the top of that page. Finally, each repeater must be able to use Port 41300 UDP on your network. That means your network must be outside any firewall your carrier has put in place. You may need to enable Port Forwarding for UDP Port 41300 and TCP Port 41000 through any routers that will front end your repeaters.
Using this Peer-to-Peer networking, all Talkgroups will be passed on both repeaters. If you are looking for better granularity, you will need to look at FlxNet (formerly known as NXCore). FlxNet allows your repeaters to handle traffic separately or in a unifie manner based on the Talkgroup being used. Contact Tom Chance-K9XV for more information on FlxNet.
