A new TampaBay Area NXDN Talkgroup has been created to give NXDN operators here in the Metro area a new way to communicate with each other.  TG 1210 is now in operation and unites users of the Boyette, Pasco and Seminole repeaters together without having to use a Wide Area Talkgroup like TG 1200.

TampaBay 1210 gives the Florida NXDN Network more granulating and will enable users in the Tampa Bay area to share information with each other while other operators on the network areas are on the air.  Linking the Boyette, Pasco and Seminole repeaters together on TG 1210 will make it easier for Tampa-Clearwater, Dunedin-Brandon and Plant City-South Pasadena QSOs using portable radios.

So, the next time you want to communicate beyond the reach of your LOCAL NXDN repeater, turn your NXDN radio to TG 1210 in the Tampa Bay area and TG 12071 (LeeLink) in Southwest Florida.  If you want to make sure you don’t miss a call on TG 1200 or TG 1299 (SKYWARN), plug these two Talkgroups into the RX Group for your ZONE.
