Does this include NHibernate.Linq - if not, is there a place I get the version that works with NH 2.0 GA?

Thanks!

There is no version that works with 2.0, that is planned for 2.1
You can get the current version and backport if, if you would like.

ok, bummer.  So no build that works with 2.0 ?

Not unless you make it so.
We needed additional features to support more advanced linq scenarios.
You can probably just try to compile against the 2.0 version and rip out what doesn't make sense

Pardon my ignorance.  What does the GA mean?  General Availability?

Does this release include a sql 2008 dialect option ?

We don't have a specific dialect for MSSQL2008, from the point of view of our dialects which are the needed changes you are proposing ?

Which would be fine if that made sense:

| 17.2.1. Current Qualifier Conventions (Post 2006-03-01)
...
| 4. X.Y.ZZ.GA - A Final version is released when there are no
outstanding issues from the last CR version. Usually it's a matter of
renaming the version from
| CR# to Final and repackaging the software.

Why would I rename the version from 'CR#' to 'Final' if I want it to
change from 'CR#' to 'GA'?

What about configuration documentation and data in hibernate.org
(there is still 1.2.1GA version)

We don't have interest to maintain JBoss site.
That page, now, is free editable.

Bye.

I've been only a ordinary user so far but I think NHibernate is a superb one compared to others.

Thanks again!

Hmmm... I'm trying to grab the source from SVN for this (easier for me
to grab SVN than the zip of the source) but I don't see a tag for
this:
http://fisheye3.atlassian.com/browse/nhibernate/tags

Am I looking at the wrong SVN repository or did the 2.0 GA not get
tagged?

I believe Bil's point is that there should be a tag called:

https://nhibernate.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/nhibernate/tags/2.0.0.GA/

to follow NHibernate's version control naming conventions. I don't want to sound pendantic, but branches are for active development work - release stabilization, patches, etc. - whereas tags are for publicly released bits. Could a committer please tag the 2.0.X branch appropriately? I suspect that 2.0.X branch will be used for 2.0.X SP1 work and we'll want to have the GA source code tagged appropriately.

Thanks,
James
