Hello Rhonda ,

A day or two ago you signed up for my 5-pencil method video tutorials and I promised to send you a new video lesson every couple days for the next week. 

Well, if you're ready to begin, here's your first drawing lesson.

I hope you enjoyed the materials videos on the website already. There are 10 of them that show all the specifics on what materials to use for the 5-pencil method and how to set up your drawing area.

Today we're going to actually get to put the pencil to the paper. Click on the video below to learn how to do the tapered stroke. Be sure to study this technique really well because almost everything in the 5-pencil method uses this stroke. 

There are 3 videos here, so be sure to click the NEXT button on each page and view them all.

If you want to draw amazing portraits (or anything else) with the 5-pencil method, you need to learn this stroke first.

So go, learn the tapered stroke.

The next video that you’ll receive will apply the tapered stroke to a slightly more challenging exercise. So stay tuned.
