Here are new 40% coupons that good at Michael's and AC Moore until the 13th.
I am also including an outline for our Art History study. Students will search for artwork by different artists in each era. When the Art Museum reopens, we will be doing some of our classes at the museum, where we will study the artwork from each era. We have plenty of great representations for each era, and we have many works by famous artists.
Students should use the art-history printout, to match artists with their era, then research one artist from each era. Students will help create a time-line for the lives of the artists, and match prints of artwork with the correct artist. This is a long-term project that will help students that want to take the AP Art History exam. Having college credit before you finish middle school looks really good on a transcript, and may help students show that they are motivated self-starters.
Students are also finding work by Master Artists, and then posing their own models in the same or similar pose to create an original piece of artwork that can be entered in contests for money or scholarships.
