Enjoy, and have a safe weekend.  I will be in the studio Sat., Sun, and Monday, so schedule your classes ahead, or if you want to pick up a set of tinted-bonded-marble for underpaintings or black and white paintings, call ahead and I will have it ready for you. 
 
Each $100 set of 18 tints will give you enough paint for 20 or more images.  By painting by value, you create more 3 Dimensional images that give more body to your oil paintings.  Paintings can be left in the Verdaccio stage or glazed with acrylic or oil.   
 
I offer 4 hour workshops on using the Verdaccio underpainting for portraits, and the cost with the set of tints is $200.  The workshops are used to create a quick 8x10 portrait, using your set of tints, and includes a demonstration on painting oil glazes and solid oil color over the skin. This technique creates quick and accurate paintings of people, places, and things.   On completion of the workshop you will have an 8x10 portrait in Verdaccio.   Workshops can be scheduled Tue. - Fri. 5:30-8:30, Sat. and Sun. 1pm - 6pm.  You can also schedule to take your workshop on-line for $200, plus the costs of shipping materials.  If you just want the paint set, the cost is $100, plus shipping.  The bonded-marble creates a great surface for pastel and graphite, when used on boards.
 
We have spent the last few years testing out different techniques that produce quality paintings in the least amount of time and costs.  We have had success with students as young as 6, but the on-line course will require a more mature student to comprehend the procedure for the first time. 
 
As professional artists, we are challenged to produce a quality product, with an exact likeness, and at a price that connects with a buyer.  The more precise we can get with less time, means a more profitable business and more time to explore new compositions and materials.  Even if art is just a hobby, the more successful paintings you create, the more enjoyable art will be.
