Spam on all google groups for the past few weeks have been out of
control. They really need to do something more filtering-wise. In any
case, moderation is now required until the situation improves (ted,
brian, and myself are listed as owners, in case anyone is curious).

I overrode all "real people" accounts to allow free posting while
leaving the default group policy to be moderated. That shouldn't be
too much of a burden to "unlock" accounts as people join and will
prevent the spam from getting published to the list.

Thanks Nick. Someone once complained to google about the porn spam on
Matt Knox's rubyu group, so google disabled the group & prevented Matt
from hosting any groups. It took months for him to get it back
(ironically the porn was never removed!). The moral of the story is to
complain through the moderators.
