I hope you had safe and happy Holidays. Slowly but surely I have been
working on the web site, (offline), and updating. We have been
starting to organize next year's event, playtrons, acts etc. and
setting the date, (the last weekend of October again; 10/28 and 10/29
2006).
I was wondering if people that attended the faire might be willing to
send me their thoughts on the faire for my own record and to use as
reviews for the website. Things to be worked on are being worked on
and things that worked we'd like to have work again this year.
Please drop me a short review if you feel up to it. Your full name
will not be used, just your initials. If you'd like to include your
town and state that would be appreciated, (since people came from as
far away as Maryland!).
Last year, as you know, we raised $400 for the Blue Ocean Society.
This year we'd like to help another local charity. One or two people
sent me ideas but, in an effort to say "Thank you" to a charity that
helped my family, personally, we would like to help the Baby John Fund.
Our son had a heart operation in 2002. We had just purchased a house
and a new vehicle and very little money to pay for the expenses that
come along with a hospital stay away from home. The Baby John fund
gave us a phone card and some gas cards to help us out. That little
bit went a LONG way and too one more thing off our mind while at the
hospital. The BJF was started by a couple in Massachusetts who have
been raising funds to help other families with children in the hospital
etc.. They are great people doing a wonderful thing in my opinion. I
don't know if they have a web site and I don't have a flier onhand but
I will look at the last pamphlet I got from them and see if they have a
site. I hope you'll all help spread the word about this charity and
help us raise some money for them.

right people/activity.
