Nh prof discover opened transactions with no statements that takes 4 seconds

Hi,

I am newbie with Nh-Prof.

I run it on our big scale environment and I saw that there are empty transactions - transaction.begin and transaction.commit with no statements that takes more than 4 seconds.

I see the following:

-- statement #1

begin transaction with isolation level: Unspecified

-- statement #2

commit transaction

We know the an empty transaction is a bug but we are concerned that it hides other bugs.

What can be the reason for this?
