Isuspect that now there is a new mole in the prosecution office (he seems to be young) and the one giving the orders was the mole who was responsible for CSH's father's murder. It is clear why his father got stigmatized as corrupt prosecutor. They needed a scapegoat in order to frame the candidate of the opposite party. They did everything in order to win the election. Now, it is again election time... and in order to ensure that people vote for their "candidate" who will help rich conglomerates and CEOs to escape from justice, they have to influence the election. So in the next episode, the prosecutor Jang could become the next target... just like they did with CSH's/KHR's father.

Is SSH/Krystal characters going to develop a love line? I noticed that she certainly has romantic feelings for him ie) being jealous, being touched by his words, & her comment on being swayed by him. I was totally thinking yes, but his female doc friend might be his love.

I have the impression that the main villain (the mole who betrayed CSH's father) is the chief prosecutor: the one with white hair. First, he asked Jang if he had any news about CSH. And someone recognized him at the gala... Secondly, they keep focusing on the dark hair, I feel it as if it was a red herring.

I can see the brother line with the other two guys in the group, but I don't exactly feel quite the same with HR and AC's characters. I think that there is a possibility, partly because his romance with the other girl is shot due to his deceptions in the past. While at the moment she is pulling out his concern in a brotherly fashion in a way right now...I feel that can easily change as they will grow closer with each other. Plus the two of them have more screen time together than anyone else...something is bound to happen. And for some reason I feel that HR feels more comfortable with AC than with the other girl, In that she is kind of like him in a way. They both have secrets and pasts. She does not trust him explicitly and he is having to earn her trust...something that I get he is not doing lightly with her. He pays a lot of attention to her moods, he was noticing things about her that the rest was not getting.

SSH said in Life Bar that there are no romance between him and Krystal in Player. But if there is I'm okay with it. People are comparing it to Switch and a lot of other dramas. I can't comment much about it. I dropped Switch. Just lack of interest and more better things to do than watch it. But really no one has an exclusive on one character. Just because this is about a con artist too people don't like it. Anw, I love SSH here. The many facial expressions he makes are so amazing and funny. I think everyone is doing a great job.

@stargazer187 I am glad that you are joining this thread because it is so quiet. Back to your question, it seems to me that the Mr. ? was very close to CSH's father therefore he never suspected the betrayal coming from him. Since the superior of prosecutor Jang asked him about CSH, I have the impression that this man is connected to Mr. ? and he must have heard about the reappearance of CSH.

Kang Steve Ha Ri is not his real name. His name is CSH and his father was the sunbae of prosecutor Jang. That's why KHR trusts Jang and sent him USB sticks containing evidence of fraud or money laundery. He is the one who took the picture of Jang with his father.

On the surface, it looks unfair because we don't see the bad guys getting beaten up but imagine what JSG will experience once he is sent to jail and convicted for rape and murder. In prison, life is hard and certain criminals suffer more than others because of their crimes. Rapists, murderers and pedophiles are isolated and can be bullied. I suspect that Na will share a similar fate. Once in prison, he will get hurt as I think, he won't change his bad behaviour: his arrogance and entitlement will become his downfall. Moreover, it is definitely possible that he meets there one of the former fighters he abused ... Therefore I am not that upset because I am quite sure, life in prison will be really hard for them. JSG is no longer protected by his father and money... he has no friend!! I can even imagine that his mother, out of shame, decides to abandon him.

@celebrianna @stargazer187 I've noticed a certain pattern in this drama. The ending of the Saturday's episode is always showing how the team has lost a battle. However, in the next episode they achieve their goal: defeat the enemy. Nevertheless, the deeper they get into that corruption, the darker the cases are.

The ratings of The player are similar to Life on Mars, although for the finale Life on Mars reached 5.8. Only Voice 2 had better ratings... To conclude The player is definitely a success. Honestly, I like the main actor. Through him, I discovered Korean movies and got interested in Korean dramas.

About the drama: The lawyer Jin Yong Joon is directly connected to That Man? which gives us a clue that the con team is getting closer to the bottom. Actually, the lawyer is worse than the candidate Kim Seong Jin and his wife because while acting nice, he is backstabbing them. He is responsible for the death of that woman...

Every now and then, I need a break from K-dramas and return to C-dramas. Whereas K-drama episodes are usually 60-90 minutes long, the average C-drama episode is 40-50 minutes long. This makes for long seasons (The Rise of Phoenixes clocked in at a whopping 70 episodes), but arguably the run time is about the same.

Tong Yao (played by Cheng Xiao of South Korean-Chinese girl group WJSN) is a young woman in her early 20s who has finished university and is at a crossroads in her life. She also happens to be very good at playing Onmyoji Arena.

This means moving in with the rest of the team into the ZGDX home base, which is located in Shenzhen. (Fun fact: this is the area my ancestors are from.) Initially, not everyone is welcoming of her, particularly as she is the only female pro player in a league dominated by guys. This is so for some of her fellow team members as well as for the fans, who like to gossip about all things league-related on the E-sports Farm forum. But over time, and as she proves she has what it takes to be in the league and to be a professional, their opinions about her begin to change.

Four talented people form an elite team that seeks to confiscate black money and expose underground crime. The team consists of a conman, a driver, a hacker, and a fighter, and they work with a righteous prosecutor to bring this criminal activity to light.

At a political rally, presidential candidate Kim Sung-jin espouses his progressive platform to voters. But later that night, a young woman flees a hotel room, and Candidate Kim, half-naked, chases after her.

At the con team headquarters, Prosecutor Jang arrives to brief the team on the recent investigation into Baek-seon. The prosecutors found a secret ledger belonging to Baek-seon, which showed a recent large payment to Candidate Kim.

The aforementioned lawyer, elsewhere, defends a solo protester from a group of harassing police officers, chasing the officers away with an impassioned argument that the woman has a right to protest peacefully.

Byung-min accepts the challenge and prepares to put his expert hacking skills to the test. But Ha-ri just uses the fingerprint pattern on the phone to decipher the unlock pattern and opens the phone in seconds. Ha.

Ha-ri gloats in victory, so Jin-woong proclaims they have no other choice and physically grabs Ha-ri and forcibly carries him away with them, dragging him to the courtroom where the young woman who Candidate Kim framed is on trial.

At the trial, a witness perjures herself claiming the defendant had a significant drug problem. Ha-ri shows little interest in the trial until he sees that the defense lawyer is the same lawyer who he was studying earlier, and he suddenly starts paying very close attention.

Ha-ri, though, tries a different strategy, and uses his charm to worm his way in with the witness. After a few drinks, the witness casually opens up to Ha-ri, and when she leans in for a kiss, Ha-ri nonchalantly steals her phone and excuses himself to copy it.

The lackey debates calling the prosecutors himself, but right as he is about to do so, the man who led one of the groups of thugs that the con team fought previously arrives. He incapacitates the lackey, and his thugs take the man away to dispose of him.

Back at the abandoned building, the entire team is at a loss for what to do, with both the lackey and the aide now dead. Ha-ri is left to consider his next move, knowing that he was too late this time.

Byung-min posing ala model while Jin-woong clicking his camera was so funny! The team camaraderie really elevates this from just another heist drama. It is so true that Ha-ri understands how his team members tick, but they also know how to tap his sense of injustice to get him rolling.

The aide's death is so sad, they were so close to saving her...

I really thought Hari was going to sit this one out, especially after his phone breaking-in trick (which I'm going to try on the next Android phone I see). So glad Jinwoong just threw him over his shoulder and walked off with him.

Episode 7 features a DR. JIN reunion between Song Seung-heon and funny man Jung Eun-pyo (the zither-playing eunuch in LOVE IN THE MOONLIGHT who channeled Jimi Hendrix). This time around, he plays a truly evil villain. If something seems to be too good to be true, it probably is. Sheesh.
