Hi developers!

First of all, thanks for all the great work that is being done! I wish I had more time to put into the project, but I'm just so busy actually using NHibernate, that hasn't been possibly lately. Some day though....

One thing we're doing at work is migrating (some of) our datetime and money handling to use NodaTime and NodaMoney, and for that, we need NHibernate custom types to go with it. It's not exactly rocket science, so I could just create the code "locally", but I figured instead that I should make really solid implementations, and publish as Nuget packages. There are existing packages for this, but they are not maintained at all, so no support for NH5 or newer versions of NodaTime or NodaMoney. A lot of other things can also be improved upon.

I asked Frédéric what he thought about adding these new packages/repositories to the NHibernate GitHub organization, and he was positive, but wanted me to ask here first. Any opinions?

There already exists an Nhibernate.NodaTime nuget package, created by Diego Mijelshon, but it's very old. I'll ask him if he'll agree to transfer ownership of the package to me/us.

Best regards
Gunnar

Great idea. I was thinking about this myself for a while. But, unfortunately, never able to proceed pass the thoughts.

Best Regards,
Alexander

I confirm I am also for adding these in the NHibernate organization.

I think you have enough rights, technically speaking, to do it by yourself.

So just go ahead when you see fit.

Frédéric
