Google Doc update: "Move to Trash" under File menu

At long last! Google has announced the ability for document owners to move a document to the trash via the doc's File menu. New users of  Google Docs may be scratching their heads and thinking...so what!?

But - longtime users of Google Docs understand why this is such a big deal. In the past, the only way to move a file to the trash was to select it from the document list in Drive.

It looks like this:

Editors and viewers will see the "Move to trash" item but it will be grayed out. This is because only a document owner can really delete a file. Editors and viewers will still need to remove items by selecting the file in Drive.

Here's what that looks like: select the item in Drive, then click the Trash icon. (this pic shows a doc in list view).
